For the Banquet, the Seniors are asked to write a paragraph about themselves...what they plan to do after they graduate. This is what we all wrote.

John Turner- As a graduate of Geneva Academy, I would like to extend my thanks to my teachers who have furthered my knowledge, and to my parents and others who encouraged me through my journey through highschool. I greatly appreciate their work and time that they sacrificed to further the learning of us at Geneva Academy. My plans for the future years are to continue working at Brookshires, and to attend Dabney classes starting next school year. I dont' really know yet what college I will be going to, but hopefully I will find a suitable place to do so. Thanks again to all who helped me through highschool.

Rhymes Walker Boggs- Walker will graduate from Ouachita Christian School on May 19, 2003 and he wants to invite everyone to attend. Immediately following graduation, Walker has a trip planned to Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and Hawaii with his Art Club from school. He plans to attent Mississippi College in the fall and to major in biological sciences with at minor in art. He hopes to attend medical school perhaps to become an oral surgeon. Walker enjoys tubing in the summer with his brothers, playing the piano and guitar, hunting, playing video games and computer games and just hanging out.

Walker hopes, one day, to rule the world and make everyone his Peon.

James (J.R.) Stires- My hobbies include: spending time with friends, singing, reloading ammunition and shooting firearms, hacky sacking, watching NASCAR (Dale Jr. all the way!), exercising (weightlifting), orienteering, hunting, fishing, camping, swimming, and helping others. I would like to be a Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agent. In order for me to reach this goal, I have two choices to make: 1) Joining the Coast Guard and pursuing a criminal justice degree while in service. 2) Enroll at U.L.M and study towards a masters degree in criminal justice. Protecting Louisiana's wildlife and fisheries resources from potential violators of fish and game laws is something I would enjoy doing.

Jessie Smith- Wow...I am a Senior! When people ask me what I want to do with my life, I have tons of answers. One day it's an FBI agent, the next day it's working as a nusr or doctor, or puttong on my sunglasses to work for the CIA as a spy. But, believe it or not, I think that I have finally found what I want to do. I have always enjoyed working with little children, so I hope to become a pre-school or Kindergarten teacher. I plan on starting at ULM this fall as a Family and Consumer Science major. I also love music, so teaching little children the cello is something I would really enjoy doing, as well. While at college I hope to get involved with different groups and have loads of fun. I plan on playing in the orchestra, getting in shape from walking so much. Those who really know me know that I love to have fun. I am so thankfulo for all the friends I have here tonight. Some of you have known me since we were babies. Others are new friends. But all of you are very special to me. I love y'all!

Callie White- "Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up. These are the best days of our lives"- The Ataris. Hullo. I'm Callie and I like things. I'm seventeen years old and was born in Lagayette, LA "Where the party doesn't stop until 8:30 p.m.". Ever since I was a wee one I've been a performer. ON Thanksgiving my sousins and I would perform skits written and directed by me. By the time I was 11 I was impersonating Dana Carvey and making up plot-lines for movies that I would one day direct. So it't no wonder that I would like to attend film school. But if that isn't possible, I'd like to study photography. I reading (mainly fiction and fantasy), drawing, writing songs (and the occasional poem much to Jeremy Wilkin's dismay) and I am also the head writer of a news letter called Blue Wave. I would also like to say that I'm not tenst, just terribly, terribly alert. NOT TENSE YOU HEAR!

Mary Drew Jones- Throughout the four years that Mary Drew has attended Neville High SChool she has been involved in a number of programs within the school as well as Church and community. Some clubs that Mary Drew is currently associated with are Girl Scouts, the Neville Varsity Speech Team, National Honor Society, Student Council as Student Body Vice President, and Jazz Choir. Next year Mary Drew will be attending Louisiana Tech University with an academic scholarship, an art scholarship, and TOPS> She plans to major in studio ar, in hopes of mastering her skills as an artist. Mary Drew also hopes to continue to challenging herself academically with honors courses at Tech.

Katherine Branson (me!)- I can't believe it is already time to graduate, how time does fly. I can remember my first year in Highschool, so new and exciting thinking I had all the time to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life (which of course was to graduate from highschool and get married by the age of 18). I have learned many things in the past four years, one being I really do want to go to college (so much for the original plan). Music has been my passion for some time. I began playing piano around the age of five or six, and I have loved to sing for as long as I can remember. However, I did not being studying music seriously until my freshman year, when I joined Masterworks Choir, and began studying piano under my (newly married) teacher, Mrs. Lisa Huntington. I have been accepted to study music at ULM, and have auditioned for two scholarships. I am looking forward to classes. I hope to open my own music studio and teach piano. I am thankful for all of God's blessings, and tonight in particular am thankful for the family and friends who have encouraged and supported me. I hope to bring honor to the Lord's name through my efforts in music.
